Blang tenth anniversary shows and album

Thursday, 13 August 2015 15:44

Blang is ten years old next month. We began in September 2005 with the "Fruit Machine" compilation CD of acts who'd played at the Blang nights at the 12 Bar Club. To celebrate we host two birthday bashes at the new 12 Bar Club on Holloway Road on October 1st and 8th with six acts each night. See the Gigs page. We release our second compilation album "Lucky Dip" to mark the occasion, with tracks from the Blang archives. This will be a download album (free from this website for a limited period of time) and a limited edition CD given out free at the shows.

The Autumn should also see records from new Blang signings Paul Hawkins and The Awkward Silences who have an album and singles in the can.
